Henry Nowak murder

YouTube - Sikh Channel Interview

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Hounslow unequivocally condemns the brutal and senseless killing of Henry Nowak.

The actions of Vikram Digwa have caused unimaginable devastation. Through a single act of violence, a young and promising life was cruelly taken away — depriving Henry of the future that lay before him, and robbing his family of a beloved son, relative, and friend. No sentence handed down by any court can ever restore what has been lost.

This was not merely the taking of one life. It was the destruction of hopes, dreams, relationships, and opportunities that would have touched countless others throughout Henry's lifetime. The consequences of this act will continue to be felt for generations — by those who loved him, and by the wider community that cherished him.

Henry's death has sent shockwaves through the Sikh community and far beyond. His family have been forced to endure a pain that no family should ever have to face. A network of humanity has been torn apart by an act of violence that was entirely avoidable and wholly inexcusable.

We stand united in mourning Henry's loss and in supporting his family. While justice may have been delivered through the courts, the grief endured by Henry's loved ones is a life sentence that they will carry forever.

As Sikhs, we believe every human life is sacred. The Guru's teachings call upon us to uphold the dignity of every individual and to reject violence, hatred, and cruelty in all their forms. The actions that led to Henry's death stand in complete opposition to those values and represent a profound betrayal of our shared humanity.

We also stand united in our condemnation of what took place. It is not enough to mourn in silence. As a community, we must be clear and unambiguous: there is no place for such violence among us, and there never will be.

We pray that Henry's family find strength in the support of those around them. We pray that Henry's memory continues to inspire all who knew him.

  • His life mattered.
  • He will not be forgotten.
  • May his memory be eternal.

May his family find comfort and strength in the love and support of the wider community during this time of profound and lasting grief.
